Project
BrightFuse was a career-oriented social networking site that reached over 1.2 million
registered users.
Members could interact with each other by joining any of the 800+ groups on the
site, or they could create their own groups and invite others to join. They could
also create extensive customized profiles containing work experience, RSS feeds,
a blog, file uploads, widgets, and more.
I worked entirely on developing BrightFuse for 2.5 years. I was present from the
very beginning, contributing to the conceptual design of BrightFuse as well as designing
and implementing the n-tiered framework.
Over time, the BrightFuse team expanded from two developers to five. I was promoted
to team leader to manage the other developers and the technical aspects of the site
in general.
