Project
Spot is a dynamic content management system. Its strength lies in its adaptability,
allowing it to be used in a wide range of situations, from inserting simple text
snippets, to controlling site parameters, to serving full page HTML content. Spot
is currently used in over 2,200 different scenarios and contains over 130,000 rows
of content.
Another big advantage of Spot is that it provides an easy way to update content
or variables without requiring code changes to be deployed. This is especially useful
for non-technical people that wish to make changes without having to go through
a developer.
The interface for adding content into Spot (shown in the screenshot) is called Spot
UI. It has several features, including revision history, content preview, and the
ability to set start and end dates for content to be used.
